I opened McDaniel & Company PLLC in 1993, and I’ve prided myself on providing exceptional service to all clients. My experience includes working for a Fortune 500 company as an auditor and staff accountant, a CFO for a privately-owned company and a manager of a CPA firm, and I have more than 25 years of accounting software experience. I’m a Certified Consultant for various Sage® and Intuit accounting software products. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people and professions and finding solutions to their tax and accounting needs. My goal is to help businesses become valuable and to keep increasing their value over time. I enjoy seeing clients become multimillionaires when they sell their business or transition the business to family members and/or key employees.
I’m a member of the North Carolina association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kernersville Rotary Club. I have served on various boards including the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, the Kernersville Board of Aldermen and the Kernersville YMCA.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf and tennis, as well as relaxing by the lake with my wife, Laurie, and our son, Nicholas.

Laurie McDaniel, CPA

I’ve spent over thirty years in public accounting assisting small to mid-sized businesses and their owners with their tax and accounting needs. I have worked with clients across a variety of industries, and it has been my mission to provide quality tax and accounting services and advice to our clients. I especially enjoy my relationship with clients. I find it rewarding to provide solutions to their tax and accounting problems and watch their businesses grow.
I grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and moved to the Triad after college. My husband, Tom, and I fell in love with the area and have been here ever since. Our son, Nicholas McDaniel, recently graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy. In my spare time, I love to cook and garden, and I especially enjoy time at the beach or the lake.
